Background
Nick is a senior project manager of 3Pillars Asia Pacific with over 25 years industry experience consulting and managing projects. Nick specialises in information technology strategic planning, implementation of programs and change to align strategic goals and improve business performance.
Nick holds a Masters in Project Management and Masters in Business Administration and has worked in large and small public and private organisations as a Senior Consultant, Senior IT Manager, Project and Program Manager.
These organisations include Telstra, IBM Global Services, IBM, IBM Clients, the South Australian Government, the South Australian Employers Chamber of Commerce (Business SA) and the National Centre for Vocational and Educational Research.
Nick has managed large Telstra data centre relocations, assessment and implementation of major corporate applications and infrastructure. Implemented an IBM worldwide expense reimbursement (wwer) system for IBM China, IBM Hong Kong, IBM Taiwan and IBM India. Project managed a component of the Sydney 2000 Olympics and consulted on several large projects for IBM clients.
More recently Nick has been a program manager for two major programmes (Business SA and NCVER) which involved the development of IT Strategic and business plans to align with business strategy and implementations to deliver new products and services, website integration, improve operations and business performance.
As an accredited project management trainer and assessor, Nick assists organisations with the development of project management capability and implementation of project management methodology, governance and training.
Nick also enjoys working with people for the development of individual and organisational capability as an accredited Franklin Covey Facilitator in the 7 Habits of Highly Effective people providing consulting, training, mentoring and support in leadership and team development.
On a personal note Nick has played competition squash for over 25 years and currently playing at the State 1 Premier league level. |
